Re: iOS loses WiFi when sleeping
The iPad is WiFi only, so that would negate the cellular connection as a culprit, no?
My issue is only with sleeping. When active, they maintain WiFi connectivity.

Then suspect the IOS 6. My Ipad 1st gen is still running IOS 5.0.1 and has no problems staying connected to wifi.
But yet my brand new Iphone4 with IOS6 won't remain connected to my wifi network with cellular on.
But now you mention your Ipad is wifi only with IOS6, it points out it's the IOS.
Maybe try to go back to an ealier IOS, because I'm agreeing with Mike. IOS6 and wifi are buggy.
Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?.

Not only that, unless you were jailbroken on a previous version, you can't rollback.
