Sadly enough...

Sad but this guy will probably get nothing b/c Tmobile will not end up having to pay but the employee will be the one responsible. I doubt Tmobile pays their employees well so that knife to the ribs will probably be all he gets.

I guess you never heard of the common law doctrine of "Respondeat superior"... Look it up.

I did, and I don't think it applies because stabbing a customer wouldn't be considered in the normal scope of employment (unless, perhaps, you're working for the mob).
