[Equipment] Obi vs. PAP2 Dial Plans

It looks, superficially at least, like Obi devices use the same dial plan syntax as Linksys/Cisco devices. Is that true? I admit to not digging through the syntax guide (and a "RTFM!" response would be understandable) but if I can just copy/paste from one to the other it sure would be simple!

There is certainly a lot of overlap.

As Mango points out, the Obi was made by the people who were originally behind Komodo and Sipura, which later became Linksys. They have been around a long time, like the Rolling Stones.

Why not try it and see if it works?

The dial plan syntax is similar, but the OBi dial plan does more. I believe you can copy/paste your Linksys dial plan to an OBi Service Provider or Physical Interface DigitMap, but not the other way around.

Dear Obihai, please fix the FXS to FXO Relay in the OBi110. Add this as your signature if you agree!
