 | [HN7000S] Intermittent Problems with Web AccelerationI woke up this morning to internet problems. Yay.
I've been having problems with HTTP browsing all morning. I did the normal checks to isolate the problem (restarting my firewall, connecting directly to the modem, etc) but no help.
The modem status page says everything is good, but when I input the diagnostic code into the advanced section, it shows red x's on Web Acceleration (both N and I). If I go to the Hourly History page in the Diagnostics section, it shows a red x on LAN. When I click on it, here's the stats (minus some unimportant parts):
--------------------------------------------------------------- System Level Diagnostics --------------------------------------------------------------- Problem(s) Detected [*** - Triggering Statistic(s)] LAN Overall BAD Transport BAD PEP BAD TurboPage BAD DNS MARGINAL VSAT Internal BAD
--------------------------------------------------------------- Address Statistics --------------------------------------------------------------- Status BAD Uplink packets rcvd 106365 BAD --------------------------------------------------------------- PEP Diagnostic Statistics --------------------------------------------------------------- Status BAD Flow control in effect YES BAD TCP messages retxed 443(1.49%) MARGINAL --------------------------------------------------------------- DNS Diagnostic Statistics --------------------------------------------------------------- Status MARGINAL Timedout DNS queries 82(4%) MARGINAL --------------------------------------------------------------- TurboPage Diagnostic Statistics --------------------------------------------------------------- Status BAD LAN side send block 709(22%) BAD * --------------------------------------------------------------- VSAT Internal Diagnostic Statistics --------------------------------------------------------------- Status BAD TCP data packet retx 632(7.20%) BAD *
On the client-side, I get an ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE in Chrome when browser. If I wait a minute or two and try refreshing I can get it to load a page.
I didn't think to grab the stats before I tried restarting the modem, so the current stats aren't much help, but they're mostly normal with my Stream Error Rate being a bit bad around 0.35-0.4%. Signal Strength is normally around 75-80. I'm on SatMex 113 west if that helps.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
