[WildBlue] New Wildblue Scam

I received an email saying that there was an issue with my last pymtcharged to credit card ending in #### and I needed to click a link to update my credit card info. The last 4 digits they used was correct. Thinking that was strange, I called Wildblue Direct and after much discussion, there was nothing wrong with my account but yes there was a scam going around and they were investigating. Obviously they had been hacked otherwise the scammer would not have the correct last 4 digits of my CC, but more alarming, is if Wildblue knew about the scam, why didnt they send out an email to all their customers alerting them to this problem. I can only imagine how many people fell for it and all the havoc it caused with their credit cards. A WARNING to Wildblue customers should have been sent out immediately!!

It would appear scammer did not have expiration date, otherwise he would not need you to "click a link to update my credit card info."

I am an employee of ViaSat. If you can send the email you are referencing to wildbluelistens@viasat.com, we can look into this.
