I was able to iMessage today. Seems more intermittent than 'down'. Took awhile for iCloud System Status to report this.

Ditto. I only use iMessage with my brother and dad and seeing as how we all have unlimited texts I'm just going to go back to using that.
iMessage always seems to be either down or really slow whenever we start messaging.
