I have been getting the same issue, since Sandy, my internet service has been dropping for a couple of seconds at max and then it would restore itself. However, since use internet conversation, the lack of a solid connection has been making me drop the call time in and again, these drops happen quite often.
If you provide me with the name on your account, through private message, I can have a tech agent check on our end to see how your modem looks. To do actual trouble shooting, you need to be home to call support.

I have called Tech support, apparently my modem is working the way it should be. I had called over the phone and via RCN live chat, overall the connection speed is fine but the connection itself would randomly turn off.
I might have to get someone from the company to come around and checkout the modem, right?
