You're not alone. Today we had both the primary and redundant power supply fail on our main Terminal Services server.

Time to go back to typewriters and telegraphs IMO.

Now, in a truly fault tolerant setup, where your terminal services server is a VM running off a replicated SAN, losing both the primary and secondary powersupplies in the server would have caused at worst a reboot

Funny that you mention that. The terminal services server is actually a VM running in VSphere. No replication though, obviously. I just restored yesterday's backup onto some alternate hardware. We are a small company, so the IT budget is somewhat limited.
