I know that there is an interface device one can use to connect a guitar to an iPad. To me that sounded pretty cool, assuming the app would be able to provide feedback to the student.
Has anyone any experience or heard anything about a good app/interface for a novice guitar student?

It's not necessarily used for lessons per se, but it allows you to tune your guitar and it is invaluable for learning new chords and fingering positions. It's not cheap for a typical app, but it is a great value.
I only strum a simple, bargain bin, soprano ukulele, and rarely when sober, but this app has my highest recommendation. |
