Re: fios

Love fios, but my landlord will not let them in my office building in nyc.

I would like to raise a few bucks from every tenant in the building to convince (bribe) the landloard to let them in.

The fact that a landlord of a multi tenant building can refuse a telecommunications undertaking from entering a building is mind boggling.

The fact that they'd WANT to prevent someone from bringing in fiber is also mind boggling - it just makes your building more valuable and rentable.

In Canada our Telecommunications Act specifically allows that an owner of a multi tenant building must allow non-discriminatory access to telecommunications facilities of any carrier authorized to operate under CRTC regulation.
