I know its kind of a vague topic, lots of problems with DSL technology, but my town is serviced by one single CO.. and a few remotes on the south side. at least once a month, many of us experience a good day (sometimes 2 or 3) of unreliable internet. usually modems just lose sync repeatedly making it hard to get anything done. I know of at least 4 neighbors who have the same issue. they are using bell DSL. often, technical solutions comes down and then the bell guys go into the CO and all is better...until next month. What gives? is bells equipment really that flaky? could they be upgrading?
Are you currently with us for DSL? Have you contacted us about this issue? Many things can cause things like this especially in small towns where you are further from a CO. Please feel free to post your account info in the direct forum so I can have a look at your line.
