[CallCentric] Phone not registered but phone working fine

Interestingly, my phone consistently appears as not registered on the dashboard, but i am making and receiving calls just fine. I guess that better than most problems; Im going to wait til tomorrow to see if it "registers".

Did you try to call your Callcentric number when shows not registered?
If you make an outgoing call that might register it a while and if you have some NAT problems might go unregistered again.

With CallCentric you don't need to be registered to make an outgoing call but registration is required to tell CallCentric where to send the incoming call to you. Registration also serves to keep your router's NAT firewall open for incoming calls coming to you.

Depending on the ata or ip phone you are using, I would try to set the Register Expires or RegistrationPeriod to a small number like 60 or 120 seconds. It looks like the OBi adapters have a 60 second Register Expires default setting, whereas the Linksys adapters use 3600 second default setting. Sometimes the voip server will override your setting to a setting they desire.

A fresh plugging-in is good for restoring many things in a relationship.
