Yes, I called to cancel.
If the rep doesn't play ball, which most likely they won't when your promo deal expires and you are not a new customer, you can always close the account and order new service using somebody else's name.
It's a silly game of them to play just so they can collect their $30 activation and installation fee. They won't allow you to install it yourself, citing bullshit reasons such as "If you install it yourself and it doesn't work, we can be held responsible".
