| 2701 HG-B port forwarding failure. I've turned on DMZ mode for my computer and still can't seem to get certain ports open. Using the port checker at www.yougetsignal.com it's still pretty hit or miss. A few strange things I've noticed is that while trying to forward port 3074, it remains closed until I use the port. In this instance I configured my bittorrent client to use that port, then it began reading as open. This technique isn't working for any other ports I'm looking to forward. |

| You are misinterpreting DMZ as a method to forwrd ports. DMZ merely opens ALL ports and only perfoms SPI on incoming packets. |
