I've never read the books, just watched he short lived TV series. I kinda wish they'd make a TV movie, as I thought the TV series was interesting.

The books are better.

Go read them.

Or listen to them. James Marsters (aka "Spike" from Buffy) IS the voice of Harry Dresden.

(Your public library may have them available for download even!)

The TV series did a great job of taking a very interesting character and making him boring as hell. Read the books.

I think Sarissa, wants Harry.

Because if she dated anyone else then someone might kill them just to annoy Mab.

But with Harry those that would kill Sarissa's boyfriend already want to kill him anyway.

and LOL@Sarissa is Mab's BFF.

True enough but if you sign up you’ll get at least one free audio book of your own choosing. Free to keep so you can just cancel after that.

I wonder if I can get the ebooks free from the Kindle lending library,......?

For what its worth I never thought much of the TV series,.....

Okay, one free audiobook from Audible vs all audiobooks from a library for free...

For what it's worth, I just signed up audible via amazon.com and for the first three months, I can get one audiobook for $7.95/mo and after that, it's $14.95/mo for one audiobook plus discounts on additional purchases.

I have another account with audible from many years ago and I have to say, I really like that there's an audible app for iOS now (because going through iTunes was a royal pain) and once I download an audiobook from either account, it doesn't matter which one I'm signed into -- I can access currently downloaded ones from either account.

I'm on chapter 16 and I'm trying to make it last as long as possible

I have three words for you: Sword. Of. Truth. (I find it difficult to utter the other four.)

The Dresden series deserved an Emmy by comparison.

I saw one episode of that series and it was so bad I couldn't finish the hour. Which is sad because that series of books could be really good if done right. Well, the first three or four books and the last three were good. There was a lot of useless filler in the middle there, much like the Wheel of Time series.
