....Thankful for making it through the megastorm safely
....Thankful that the damage wasn't as bad as it could be
....Thankful for getting the electricity back
....Thankful for all the friends who worried and prayed
....Thankful for all the first responders, the police, the firemen, the emergency service workers, the utility crews, the civil authorities, the National Guard, the construction workers, the volunteers, the charity workers, the businesses, the insurance adjustors and everyone else who are working superhuman hours to try to get things back to normal for everyone
....Thankful for living in a country where we have both the physical and financial capability to recover from such a catastrophe
....Thankful to the websites like BBR and all our usual online haunts which allowed us to escape from the worries of the day
My prayers and thoughts are with those who don't have it so good this Thanksgiving. Here's hoping that next year will be a better one.
