You would be surprised. A lot of the aluminum pots and pans we use in the restaurant I work in, LOOK cheap. But believe me, they are NOT cheap at all. They are quite thick, so as to not burn easy like you could with thinner and cheap stuff.
This particular pan I used for this, IS cheap since I am taking it someplace and if I forget it, it is no big deal.
