AT&T's vs Verizon LTE in South Florida?

Yikes on the at&t LTE speeds. Verizon's is more widespread with LTE. The downside is at&t's 3g network when outside lte areas in my experience is better than verizon's 3g. So, has it's downsides and upsides.
