California Gets Face Scannersquote: In a single second, law enforcement agents can match a suspect against millions upon millions of profiles in vast detailed databases stored on the cloud. It's all done using facial recognition, and in Southern California it's already occurring.
Imagine the police taking a picture: any picture of a person, anywhere, and matching it on the spot in less than a second to a personalized profile, scanning millions upon millions of entries from within vast, intricate databases stored on the cloud.
It's done with state of the art facial recognition technology, and in Southern California it's already happening.

(Rant) It certainly is just a way to spy.:( They cannot be looking for anything in particular this way. Otherwise, how could they allow so many illegals to stream across their borders and give them sanctuary, state assistance, etc., and I don't mean just those from Mexico. Since California allows so many crazy things, this is just another normal. |

Something about a million monkeys at a million keyboards is nagging me. Strange that this phrase .."pretty soon you're talking about real money." could be attributable to anyone! |

They (government) spend money, we pay taxes. If they spend more what we pay (and it always happens), they borrow money form China... How can stop that madness??? Why they are allowed to blow the budget uncontrollably and spend such money on spying on own people? |

Why they are allowed to blow the budget uncontrollably and spend such money on spying on own people? I thought you'd never ask. I have been around here since 1998. The same members voicing their same concerns of the same government. The same government grinding them down, inexorably. The same government squeezing them into a smaller, tighter, more controllable mindset. The same government that leads you to believe you are a superior human when you accept their guidance. The government celebrates people that discuss rather than act. The government acts and moves on. You, here, have not. Your government loves you. You are the perfect citizens. |

Yeh maybe, a government may want us to all look the same...but smiling in public...thats precisely what they don't want. ....... has recently told drivers that they are not allowed to smile for drivers license photos because it could cause complications in terms of logging biometric data in their own facial recognition system. |
