Do you use a DVR system now? I heartily recommend Ultra based on my experience moving from Comcast to WOW. With Comcast, I had 2 DVRs, slower internet, and paid much more.
WOW is good at dropping frivolous charges which can happen during an install. Best to call and explain you are shopping and want a whole house DVR type system, and that you are torn between Uverse and Ultra. They might, if lucky waive the visit to upgrade maybe?
At least if its a bad experience, there is no contract to lock you in. I know the Hopper is a two year contract, but what does Uverse do?
