Generally in my experience, an MVNO works very well or doesn't work at all. And any outages affecting MVNOs are probably also affecting the so-called Tier 1 carrier as well.
To each their own I suppose. The savings with using an MVNO are substantial, the quality just as great, and I personally don't need any hand-holding or pampering from customer service.
