I got it in China for like $100 - plays all media files ... fast boot up ... long battery ... BUT auto-off setting did not save/work and did not take 32GB MicroSD card

so I decided to update the firmware since I had out of the box V1.0 and they were up to V3.10

went to the official site - on »www.teclast.com/topic.php?channe···icID=148 found

"TL-C700固件下载" - downloaded »file2.mydrivers.com/mp4/Teclast_···ED46.zip

connected the player and started their LiveSuit software - located the "TL-C700.img" and it started upgrading

and the screen just went black :/ and LiveSuit stopped

and now it has no sign of life

how could it just brick like that :/

obviously I was super careful...

hmmmm I think I just need to reset/restart it

I have cracked the LCD on it before - and replaced it - so I decided to see if there is any reset button ...

to no avail...

if anyone can shed any light on any of this

would be very much appreciated...

I think maybe I am not following the instructions to the fullest...

all instructions are in Chinese if anyone knows Chinese - please help »/postlist/1648···rt&p=1&l
