Dogbert posted : I noticed the picture is missing as well when I connect my Ipad 4. I think it has to do with the newness of these models. If you look at the box it states that Itunes 11 or later is required. The last update to Itunes was in October before the Ipad 4 or mini were announced. Itunes 11 was supposed to be available in October, but has been delayed.

I'm guessing the icon will be there after the next iTunes update.

IowaCowboy posted : I just bought an iPad Mini and when I sync it with iTunes (via the Lightning cable), it appears in iTunes without the usual picture depicting an iPad when the device is selected. When I sync my iPad 3, the picture in question does appear. I did not photoshop the picture but I did photoshop the screenshot to remove personally identifying information.

Secondly, I have an issue with my iPad 3 (full size) not displaying certain websites correctly (I think the software got corrupted) but I tried the software restore and restored the backup. I have even tried removing the cookies and the website data.
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
