Wayne, NJ | IPG In Widescreen in addition to my post about WLIW and subchannels in widescreen, I also noticed the iO home page and guide are in widescreen. I wonder if this will be carried over when the new guide is rolled out to Oakland.

Tenafly, NJ | Do you have a Samsung box? The graphics fill the screen on the Samsung boxes.. as far as the Scientific Atlanta boxes, I believe Wilt said they don't support 16x9 graphics...? |

| Interesting, yours is the first report of an SA box having the IPG widescreen.
The Morris County system was one of the first systems to receive the new Onxy guide on October 3rd before they stopped the rollout and they're still 4:3 here not widescreen on the SA boxes. |

Wayne, NJ | As I posted in my other thread, I am on normal setting, I haven't changed anything relating to my STB, plus the fact that I've been working alot so I haven't even watched TV at all, and my wife dosen't even know how to change the settings.

It's not that, I checked. Funny thing though. I noticed my display is on 480i and I can't seem to change it. I use a component connection from the box to the TV.

Wayne, NJ | I tried something that I think worked. I tried rebooting my box which didn't work. I then disconnected and reconnected my component cables. The guide is back to normal, and my display now shows 1080i. I think the box is starting to go; it's over five years old.

its a software error.
ive had this happen to my 8300HD as well.
