No, actually, they didn't call it a pothole. They called it a sinkhole. Read the article.

In Montreal that's just a baby. They'd send two guys with a shovel and some gravel to patch it

I think for Ontario, Sudbury, aka "Crater City of Sudbury"...

I don't know about you guys but does any other city in Ontario have a "Pothole Patrol?"....I'm shocked nothing has happenned here, but our roads are in generally speaking diplorable shape.

This Pothole patrol starts in February and works...practically all summer long lol....

Anywho, that is pretty scary for the mountain, I thought that you guys had money up there? lol

Ha-ha, but it's true, Sudbury is a crater, or rather sitting within the remains of one.

I called Upper Wellington and Queensdale home for a while and I don't remember it being that bad....but....maybe only because I used that access up and down the mountain...and only used Upper James which for the most part was ok to access the Mountain Plaza Mall!...Which I hear is gone now....anywho

Used to live in that area...ah well, shouldn't be all that surprising.

Most likely a water main break which washed away the gravel underneath the road. Lots of aging infrastructure in Canada and these small breaks virtually go undetected for months or so until some car ends up in a sink hole.
