I have one of those cloud routers. I have the regular firmware on it but tried the cloud router. You can still login to the webpage locally with the cloud router.
people also have to keep in mind that with opendns or googles dns server they know everything you do on the web also.
My problem with ciscos new firmware was it actually decreased what was configurable with the router. Not the general cloud part.
