Compact Camera - Suggestions

Yes it's that time of year when everyone has questions on what camera to buy. I currently own a Nikon D70 (with lenses) and I love it. But I usually only take it with me if I'm planning to go take pictures. I don't take it on business trips, etc, as it's too much to take one more bag sometimes. I'm looking for something small to carry with me most of the time but I want the following:

1) Shutter Priority Mode
2) Aperture Priority Mode
3) RAW format available
4) $300 range

I looked at the Canon Powershot G15 online today and it appears to have what I want, but it's in the $450 range. Am I out of luck for the price point that I'm willing to pay?

I have had a number of camera's (Pentax, Canon, Nikon / others with lenses) over the years but when I went digital again with multiple camera's, I ended up settling with Panasonic and I'm currently on my fourth Panasonic P&S.

If you are searching for fast glass (1.4) or mega zoom (25mm-525mm), Panasonic has something for you.

I carry my ZS7 in a protective case with a carabiner on a belt loop whenever I go out, wouldn't leave home without it.

EDIT: . . . it's my photographic memory.

I got the Canon S100, has full manual modes, Raw, etc. It is fairly pocketable as well.

I would recommend it

Tip Top of point & shooters.

Personally I have the older LX3 which has a 2.0 lens.
