Re: [NV] Cox Internet continually dropping in Las Vegas area

It's gotten much, much worse. My modem's crashed three times in the past thirty minutes (5:57 PM). This is really getting old.

How... irritating. That's a LOT of T3s.

Can you PM me your contact name and phone number - I'm going to escalate this internally, and people's information on their accounts seems frequently wrong.

I came to dslreports tonight to learn whether regular T3 errors were common. Apparently they're not a good sign. Here's what I get:

No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out;CM-MAC=00:22:[snip];CMTS-MAC=64:00:[snip];CM-QOS=1.1;CM-VER=3.0;

Yesterday, those were coming several times an hour, according to the logs. I've had 2 in the last 30 minutes. I also get:

SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync
Lost MDD Timeout
Cable Modem Reboot due to MDD Loss
TLV-11 - unrecognized OID

A tech was here two days ago because we had gone completely dark. Now we're back online, but the error & reboot cycles are more frequent than before. Could my modem be faulty?
