Pretty sure one of the union guys had some posts going the past 2-3 years every time this happened in the CDN-Chat forum.
reply to audiofool A couple of my friends work for one of the big 5 Canadian banks and they've told me that most layoffs or terminations happen in November & December. I don't know if this has anything to do with their yearly budget but it seems like other companies do the same thing this time of the year.
