| Porting a phone # from a business account to a residential Is it possible to port a telephone number from a business account to a residential account? I'm planning to move my business into my future residence (i.e., a home office). This is in New York City and currently at work I have POTS (and DSL) from Verizon and I'm planning to get VoIP from Time Warner Cable. Thanks in advance. |

| It should be possible. I don't see why it wouldn't be. As long as you have the account number an such. In some cases the telco doesn't check the name to see who's taking it over, etc. |
