The biggest issue I have is right here.

It fluctuates from about 30 dBm and upwards, after watching it for awhile.

Somewhere around 34.7 dBm is 3 watts output, I think. I understand now that RF power shown is actual TRIA's output power.

which is more normal. Is there high humidity, or rain clouds floating around your area to explain your current 3.6 W Tx RF power?

I assume TX IF's value is generated via SB2 modem itself, but Tx RF power could represent actual value seen via "Earth Station" or a value generated via SB2.

I'm running a short cable run since WB legacy, less than 15' in ballpark.

Enclosed is a pic taken back in late March, when upload speeds were much/much faster; it shows a wide spread also

I may call my local Coop, and see if they can re-point. It's either an out of focus dish, or Exede's Cisco-Equipment is clamping down, due to programming.

I've hooked my router back up...had no issues with connecting/disconnecting computers or router.

Your gain is in the normal range, but the gateway is telling your modem to ramp up the power to your transmitter more than normal. If the weather is not the cause, then maybe you need to repoint your dish.

Same dynamic IP (newer one issued), and still hooked direct to SB2 modem from desktop computer.

This upload result, 43 kbps, when compared to download result, 20.1 mbps, would strongly suggest Exede's Cisco-Equipment has choked this user's upload speed, for no good reason, other than SNAFU. Unless, SB2 modem has a programing glitch that retards uploading.

Based upon Testmy (via IP address), previous user of this dynamic IP had real slow upload speeds back in March/April; around 28-48 kbps upload, and from around 12-14 mbps download

What's interesting is first six numbers (xxx.xxx) of this dynamic IP remained the same, but last "six" numbers changed a total of 14099 units (when higher numbered IP one is subtracted from lower valued one via removing decimal point).

I ran two upload speedtests around 8 AM CST, first one, I just used a payload of 256 Kbytes, and second one, 3 Mbytes. Smaller payloads skew the results, for those who don't know.

Within next month, I plan on getting a Republic wireless phone, which users are expected to use WiFi mostly. It takes about 80-kbps in both directions. 30 kbps upload won't cut the mustard on Republic wireless during primetime.
