Can I use 2 FiOS Actiontec MI424WR routers, 1 for dd-wrt

I have 2 Actiontec routers, 1 is from an old installation that I have sitting around.

My question is, can I use the old router as a dd-wrt?

I want to use dd-wrt for VPN use. Assuming this would prevent exposing my actual IP if I get disconnected from the VPN server.

Thanks guy

It depends on the rev. level of the router that you have.

DD-WRT can be loaded on rev. A-D. If your router is newer, then you're out of luck.

The one that is in use now is a Rev. C, the one from the old account is a Rev. F
