I'm not particularly familiar with NVIDIA cards, but a good portion of ATI/AMD based cards can usually handle at least 3, but sometimes 4 or more displays.  NVIDIA cards shouldn't be far behind. <description><![CDATA[plk posted : Running a gforce gtx 260 card<br>This current 30 in monitor is the gateway xhd3000 model with all the problems those monitors had. It has had the card  replaced but headed down hill again.  So I would actually need to buy 2 to stay with the 2560x1600.  about 2 grand.<br><br>I watch tv via homerun prime on the system so I dont want to give up and space.  This is why I was going to go with 2 27in monitors. I would gain some space in width. <br><br>I like the 3  27in monitor idea.......I'd have to buy 6 tho...... the better hafe would want it too.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Octavean posted : I don't know that I would call this an upgrade though,.....<br><br>What was your intention or intended use for making the switch from a 30" 2560x1600 display to dual 27" 1920x1080,......?<br><br>Did you consider buying another 30" 2560x1600 monitor and possibly adding another video card to drive it,.....?<br><br>I have a triple 27" 1920x1080 setup (5760x1080) driven by an HD 6870 video card that I like just fine and I have two 2560x1440 monitors on different systems (GTX 260 / 8800GTS).<br><br>Some people would call the move you are suggesting a downgrade.  Just curious as to what you are trying to accomplish.]]></description>
