Re: Timing belt interval I had a 1997 Acura Integra 4cyl with 280k miles on it... Replaced everything but the timing belt... That said, I would recommend replacing the timing kit in the intervals with any interference engine... I have seen some bad things happen. |

Ah. I thought you had posted a repair guide or a list of items that needed replaced. Not just the amazon link. Based on the diagrams above, what's in that picture should be the only items presuming nothing is broken, worn, etc. The only other thing that might need to be is the spring for the tensioner which looks to be a separate item. Not sure if that is a item that weakens over time and should be replaced with the tensioner. |

kudos:7 | I've used a variety of after market water pumps over the years for all sorts of different makes of vehicles. I've never had one that didn't work as intended. Unless you have something exotic, or there's a manufacturing defect, they're all going to be about the same.
So in other words, it's likely as good as any other water pump. |
