 | [TWC] Upstate NY Usage Tracker Hi all. I'm from Rochester, New York and today I logged into MyServices on TWC's website and - lo and behold - I see a brand-spanking-new internet usage tracker! This can't be good..
They going to start imposing cap limits? If so then i am screwed.
Anyone else notice this new usage meter? |

There is little that we can do to stop them. I logged into my account and i see the usage data there also. 21GB so far in November. I do not think that this is a lot. |

They are trying to take more money from their customers, and they have many of us over a barrel, as in some areas there is no other Internet service. -- "Understanding is a three-edged sword." |

Usage so far in November |
I don't think TWC wants to be the industry leader with capping, and if they did, I think they'd probably follow comcasts lead and make the cap much higher than what the average user is using (in the hundreds of gig range). Saturating the download on a turbo account for a month would be about 6.5 Terabytes. Anyway, here is an updated screengrab of my usage so far this month. |

 | I have EL through TW and I don't see a usage bar so as EL does not have to pay a modem rental fee if TW does issue a cap and it will suck if they do I bet you EL won't be affected. |
