I would like to use fiber optic connections that are found on my TV, Cable box, and sound bar. Should it be: cable box (fiber out) ----> sound bar (fiber in) or do i have to run the audio through the TV TV is currently hooked up via HDMI

Dogg Premium join:2003-06-11 Belleville, IL Reviews: ·Charter	Either will work. Most TV's only pass stereo audio out the digital ports (5.1 audio only from the internal tuner). Assuming the cable box will send audio and video out different ports, that would likely be the best connection method. Depends on whether you ever use the TV without the cable box. -- Google is your Friend

usa2k Blessed Premium,MVM join:2003-01-26 Redford, MI kudos:3	reply to seamore I do HDMI to the TV, and optical to the sound bar. Can't say its the best way, but it works for me.
