·WOW Internet and..

Cleveland's crazy internet

My modem keeps rebooting itself and when I can get online, it's extremely slow. I looked at the diagnostics and there are so many errors, that they've rolled off of the page.

One of our set top boxes has gone out and won't come back. I've been on hold waiting for WOW for over 30 minutes. The only outage for my area listed is one for digital adapters. Could that be the problem?

Anyone else?

Were you able to get through to someone at customer service? Are you still experiencing issues?

Yes, I was able to get through, thank you. Yes, I am still experiencing issues, as I have been for 6 months or so. Hopefully, there is some sort of resolution in the works.

Thanks again for being so kind as to address my issue.

Do you have someone scheduled to come out to your home? Would you like me to take a look at it from my side?

Just curious, where is this "listed" for your area? Is there a webpage for outages? Our digital adapter hasn't been working for a few days (along with a cablecard in my PC), and I would feel better if I read somewhere that they were aware of issues.

Re: digital adapters

I have two TV's not connected to any box (ie using built in qam tuners instead) and a few days ago they lost most of their channel associations. I had to have the TV rescan to get them all back. I wonder if your digital adapters might need a reboot as well to refind the channels. Worth a shot at least.

For the most part my Internet has been better the past few days, but still occasional slow downs and lag spikes in the cleveland area. They say no one else is complaining, well duh, no one wants to wait over an hour to maybe get to talk to someone.
