question about nextel

i just found a site called cellrecption.com and it says they offer the best coverage in my area. My concern is when i go to nextel.com it reroutes me to sprint.com and the coverage map says sprint doesn't cover my area at all. Does the sprint map not include nextel towers? How can i find out if they actually offer coverage?

Nextel as it was known is going away.

Are any other companies going to use their towers?

Sprint was and is retiring the old nextel technology. Old news.

Check to see if there is a WISP in your area. What's your zip?

found a site called wispa and no wisp in my area. Bit was suppose to build one but they are over a year behind schedule and now their are rumors that they are about to give up. I need to win the powerball and pay verizon a few milli to run fiber to my house. lol
