The tech who came out to hook up my existing line to whatever DSL gear was on the pole tested the line at 10/1, but download tests consistently put me at 8/768. I'm about a quarter to half mile from the CO in my town, and I was surprised I got 10/1 actually. Like I said it's a backup connection for me and I'd prefer lower latency over peak download rate if it's not too much hassle to change I'd like to try.

Smith6612 Premium,MVM join:2008-02-01 North Tonawanda, NY kudos:22	Shouldn't be too big of a hassle. Just ask Verizon to turn it down and then ask for FastPath. They should be pretty willing to do that
