Best E10+ or E rated action/adventure games--OPINION
Hi,
I am interested in buying a recently made PC game with good HD graphics that is rated E10+ or E. I would like it to be an an action/adventure game or a strategy game. Does anyone know any really good games that fit into those parameters?
Well, in regard to what I am looking to avoid in games, I COULD give you a list, although there may be other things. Here is a list: blood, language, use of liquor, lyrics, magical elements (like wizards), and suggestive themes. Thank you all for your comments.
Lego games are great! Disney games. Casino games meet your criteria. You could play sports games with the commentators off. Minecraft. Sim city. Flight Simulator.
Honestly you are probably just better off playing flash games. Any games that would have challenge for an Adult mind would most likely include some number of the above themes that you are trying to avoid.
Play portal and portal 2 without sound. It does have some sound thing, and I'm not sure if you count robots in the future as a magical element... but it does have a really unique puzzle strategy to it.
I'm having a hard time thinking of one with the parameters you set (that doesn't mean they're not out there of course). As mentioned, Portal 2 is a good bet. Honestly the Wii / WiiU would probably have more of what you're looking for than the PC.

This is probably the OP's best bet--a well-produced game with clean humor and great puzzles.

One I enjoyed as a teen was Journeyman. If you are OK with aliens in it, it is an otherwise clean game. Think Myst + aliens + save the world.
How about the game Limbo. Its on Steam for around 10 bucks I think. Very well made puzzle/adventure game. Im pretty sure it meets your requirements.
IDK about that. There's no blood, but only because it's all in shadow. The ways you die are actually very violent and graphic.
Sorry, Xen, as that is a great game, but Rod is correct in that it is, indeed, very violent. I remember coming up on the spider (boss?) and getting impaled by one of its legs and then being tossed away in two pieces.
But... a hard request, as they're aren't a lot that don't fall into these categories.
As was mentioned, Nintendo has a lot of games along these lines that are very entertaining, but stay away from the violence, gore or even realism...you might have better luck there.
The recommendation for Portal / Portal 2 is a good one, as well.
