Re: New Tarzan movie. He's too thin no. But remember when True Blood first started, that guy who played Eric was a lot more buff. He lost a lot of weight and muscle mass. Go back and look at him in the earlier seasons when he first came on the show, and look at him in the later episodes. You'll see the difference for your self. It's very noticeable. -- "I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use." - Galileo |

| I like the guy that plays the "beast" on Beauty and the Beast, or Arrow. Though I'm nor sure of their Height. They are both heavier then the guy that plays Eric, but may lack the height.
I shudder to see the Reacher movie with Tom Cruise. As Jack Reacher in the Books stands around 6'5" tall and weigh around 230 pounds. Cruise is no wheres near any of that. Same goes with Tarzan, he is tall [I think 6'2" to 6'4"], but he is also "built". Meaning a stiff wind wont knock him over. The guy that plays Eric looks like a little breeze would carry him away -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? | I think the guy who plays Alcide, Joe Manganiello, would make a better Tarzan. He has the height, the look, and the physique to play that role well. Just hope they have a killer script and director.

| What is funny, is that my wife brought this up a few weeks ago, before we knew about the Tarzan movie. She also thinks he, Alcide, would make a good looking Tarzan. I can go with that, as well. -- Is a person a failure for doing nothing? Or is he a failure for trying, and not succeeding at what he is attempting to do? What did you fail at today?. |
