[HN7000S] Ungody Slow Today..

So today seems terrible, Eveything is taking forever to load up with out Turbo Page off, Gaming is pretty much impossible, Logging in with 70k Ping ect. Anyone elsehaving issues today?

If you wish to see "issues" hop on over to the official Hughesnet forums.
They are about to have a riot.
The mods have deleted so many posts it is outrageous.
Some of those posts are by long time well respected people.

I think yes, there is trouble in paradise.

probably a sign that satellite internet is about to take a big hit with the soon solar maximum..

the 4 accounts I was using to post relevant topics on the HN community site have been blocked because they consider me not helping them..

I'm seriously looking into going with Verizon HomeFusion LTE now that their website says it's available in my area.

I tend to avoid "Offical" forums. Like ya said, MOD's are killing lots of posts. Heh. There is always trouble brewing with Hughesnet... It's just been getting worse and worse over the years.

117w 970 , Takes google forever to load up w/out Turbo Page turned off, While it's off it's fine.. But gaming is pretty much impossible atm.

Well... Apprently everything is working again.. Been sitting here for 6hours checking and checking and it finally worked lmfao.. God i hate Hughesnet.

There was a lot of trouble on 117 a few days ago...maybe its going to flair up again. Nothing on Hughesnet gets or stays fixed for long.

From reeding all of your guys posts here in this thread, looks as if the ones having terrible issues are like a dvd case on top of a bunch of others, as the further you go down, the more stable it becomes but once it gets to unstable and not useable thats when the tall stack starts to shaking and then at the end you end up with a disaster mess while Gen4 is still in its ritfully place (that's the very last dvd case on the pile, the one thats also flat on the floor)

I bet ya alot of those Rep's were taking some very serious heavy fire from deleting those posts, replies, and comments ehh?(: hahaha well im just glad i dont bother with that website anymore and things are still loading perfectly fine even today it was.

you don't really need to log in, just find one of you previous posts, then right clk on your username and have it open in a new window.status will be displayed on lower left side.

Just to jump into this conversation, Yesterday (Sunday) our 7000S was HORRIBLE! SLOWer than a snail, pages wouldn't load, errors all over the place, etc. It finally got back to normal around 8 pm. This morning it seems like it is slowing down, but nothing like yesterday yet. I'll go over to Hughes forums and check it out also. For $69.99/month, I expect better than this and have really not had problems such as this in years. I also notice that my lights are blinking even when there should be no "traffic" on my modem, such as when I am typing this, so I suspect that Hughes might be downloading something I don't know about. I have checked my automatic updates for windows, etc, and there is nothing scheduled for updates even when my lights are blinking. Somethings going on .......

Yeah, Sunday really sucked. But I've been with these guys for 13 years now, and weekend maintenance is the norm. That said, I guess Hughes has no regard for increase internet usage relative to Christmas shopping.

One day they may realize that overnight maintenance will yield a happier customer base than this weekend crap.
