Based on some of recommendations here plus other reviews I picked a Braun Series 7. Awesome shave in less than half the time with the old Remington, feels much smoother... My wife will be happy

The next best shaver I've ever had (comparable in speed and smoothness) was a Soviet-made one that I picked at a flea market for next to nothing (new). Definitely not a CR top pick...
