YOU don't, but if you ask in the direct forums you they can tell you what kind of slam you're on

They won't tell you the manufacturer of the equipment, only the type, OSLAM, RDSLAM, FSLAM, etc.

You can get a good idea by looking at the DSLAM vendor ID from your modem, it should be a Broadcom chipset.
