Ya Don't Say!

"...so far, it seems like a gigabit connection really only gets close to such high speeds if you have something on the other end to serve it adequately..."

No! Really?!?!

Origin from EA takes advantage of it. I was downloading at 40 MEGABYTES per second from my university's internet.

I also download a lot of them at 13 MB/s on my comcast xtreme 105 connection.

Also the benefit of fiber is like a fake LAN.

Say, you want to transfer files to your other computer at a different house. Instead of waiting forever for that 20 gig movie rip, it takes a minute.

I need google fiber >:|

comcasat xtreme 105 is too slow for me.
Dhat 20 megabit upload needs to be symmetrical.
