Re: [Connectivity] modem logs concern Did your downstream power used to be zero?? (kind of wondering if /how this was padded/ changed, and IF it was equal on each side, WHY go quite that much?) Each plant is different and your modem is not a precision meter, BUT if accurate, 4-5 points lower on the DS side and 4-5 point higher on the US would be in the very good range pretty much anywhere. The SAID message isn't a problem if you see it a few times, if you get dozens or hundreds a day you have problems. |
zebu join:2012-11-28 Salisbury, MA | I had ongoing connectivity issue but I had the comcast tech change my line and check out the pole and they're monitoring it atm. I thought I would stop getting a critical-3 error but I got another one just now. I didn't experience drop of connection but it worries me

if someone knows what it precisely means, it would help. |
