Re: Just signed up for 3Mbit service, MA Verizon territory Ok, Verizon wireline tech came out today and buzzed my line (I think that's what it's called). He gave me the DSL dry loop number for my line.
Anyways, from that point on, how long does it take until my DSLX username/password combo work for PPPoE?
I accessed my Westell 327W, and simply replaced my old Verizon DSL login info with my DSLX info, and it's still getting DSL link signal like always, but then I get a red "internet" light. Like the PPPoE isn't going through.
Does the CO work happen the same day as the tech comes out (he came early in the morning)?
Or do I need to wait until my official activation date before it will let me log in?
Or is there some sort of configuration that I need to do to my modem/router?
Edit: I did an autodetect WAN settings. DHCP server not found. PPPoE server found! VPI 0 / VCI 35
Re-entered my password, just for kicks. Nope, still a red internet light. |
