kudos:2 | Make sure that your TV audio is not set to output 5.1. That converter will only convert 2-channel digital audio.

kudos:2 | Shoot. After looking at your picture, it looks like you only have an optical digital audio output, which means that digital coax cable won't work. You will need an optical cable to go from the connector circled in this picture to the optical input on the converter.

1 edit | The link that you posted for the TV indicates that it has a digital audio coax output. But I don't see it in your picture.
[edit]Just looked at LG's site, and they indicate that your TV only has a digital audio optical output. The info on Newegg's site is wrong.
