I wonder what the hold up was? Maybe the host stations wanted more money than was part of the original contracted agreement and TWC said no.

Or it could be a postponement. Those channels off your card could effect other divisions were those stations were assigned, and probably will.

Best guess is a snag at the last minute in getting those channels up which has affected all TWC systems. Our notice was initially "On or after December 13, 2012" for the Sports Pass ads. Does the channel brochure show assigned station numbers for the other sports stations? Like Fishing, and Fight Now?

Is this an appropriate request for this thread? It is a bit different from asking for a new channel to be added to the lineup on the cable system.

I wonder if there was a last minute holdup at corporate with the launch? As far as I know, no TWC systems have them yet. I am sure Hob will let us know when his area gets them, and the rest will follow soon after.

Yep, just called in to try to order it, but it’s currently not in the system. The CSR said call back on the 19th. I can’t wait! Glad to see the NHL massively slashing the price of Center Ice. Last year the NBA did nothing with the price of League Pass after the lockout, except offer a two week free preview at the beginning of the season instead of just one week.

They kept trying to blame my TiVo it was all them though. after two months stable I added the second, that original tuning adapter was DOA, the tech that rolled had another on his truck that was DOA. Their hard headed and stubborn but I swear you'll love the TiVo box and not as expensive as their DVR plus it's yours.

Pick it up at BestBuy and add a 4 year ex-warranty the newest TiVo software HD menus now include browsing the other TiVo's now playing list and setting up recordings from another room.

Add when there is the outage, and cable does have them the TiVo will still tune and record local OTA ATSC.

I admit I was mad, angry and hostile at the Bull they put me through with the initial lousy service, blaming customer equipment when it was their poor delivery. Still once it finally gets fixed it's workable. There are still a few kinks that irk me that have to do with tuning adapters and switched channels.

The Sports Pass Stations were never added: PAC 12 regionals, FightNow Network, World Fishing Network, NESN-National to name a few. Our $3.00 Sports Pass Increase of $3.00 was effective December, 2012.

We got the increase but the channels were never added.

This could be. The wording seems to imply that one follows the other. All the billing statement said, was a possible $3.00 increase for Sports Pass on the next billing cycle, which would coincide with those 10-15 Sports Pass Channels, not the QAM station removal.

Who has the new Sports Pass Stations? Such as Fishing Network, Pac 12 Stations, and FightNow Network? (TWC/BHN Systems.)

Hobs, a question, I have read for a long time that Sports Channels are the most expensive for TWC to get. With TWC looking to consolidate packages and Mr. Britt saying that niche channels might be dropped that aren't of value, I am surprised that these Sports stations because of cost are getting added. Can you comment on this?

PS. Wisconsin got Aspire, and SD versions of BBC World News and some other sports station who's name escapes me. No HD for BBC World News yet for Wisconsin.

I would love one day to see a standard channel line up across the company. The East is working towards that.

TWC has been improving the SDV bandwidth in systems throughout the country that need it in systems that can make room for more SDV QAM carriers I know that these systems have 22 or 24 SDV QAMs based on looking at silicondust and seeing the same unencrypted subchannel bounce between different QAMs:

22 QAMs for SDV:
Central Texas
Southern California

24 QAMs for SDV:
Dallas Texas (includes surronding cities in North Texas)
