Make sure, if you d/l this program, that you d/l the correct one for your system.

I sure wish I knew what I am doing wrong. I try to use the program. I give Win 7 permission to open it and then NOTHING.

Same for the Win XP program.

Anyone know if the Remove Other Programs action decrapifies the registry and leftover files and folders on the HD?

Same thing here. Launch the program and nothing happens after I give it permission to run on a Win 7 x64 PC.

Yep, same here on 3 computers. AND, I'm dying to try it.

For those of you who haven't tried this program, let me give you a heads up. It is primarily for new computers to get rid of the software that is put on by various mfg's who want you to try theirs. If you have ever had a new computer, there is TONS of bloatware, some of which is very hard to expunge.
PC DECRAPIFIER locates all the suspect s/w, then gives you the opportunity to chose and select which ones to remove.

I've only had one new laptop that it was used on and it cleared out what I didn't want.

Just thought this needed to be cleared up.

I seem to remember using it when I got my laptop in February 2008. Just don't remember the details.

2.3 worked fine on Win 7 so now I do remember using it on a new machine.

Nothing to remove on one with a few months on it.

For those of you saying you are having problems with this program not starting after giving it permission to run on your Win 7 systems, did you allow the pc-decrapifier.exe via your firewalls so that it could run?
